2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLHXI, Most Harley motorcycles are modified in some respect and this featured bike has some great accessories, plus awesome standard features for touring. It has a detachable padded passengers back rest and a chrome luggage rack. A fob operated Security System is installed so that you and your Insurance company can have some peace of mind (but a Pit Bull in your garage does a much better job). Its color is Vivid Black and it shines. Its most distinguishing feature is a set of Harley-Davidson heated hand grips. I have these on most of my bikes and they are great to take off the chill at 40 degrees but can be considered mandatory at 7 degrees. A Street Glide is a great mix of practical and efficient with a lot of style. Check out the unique wheels, the cut down windshield and the fairing mounted rear view mirrors. Because of their lowered rear suspension, Street Glides have a very low center of gravity which make the them a very stable bike to ride around town (with lots of space in their lockable/water proof saddle bags for groceries). Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy
Wed, 16 Oct 2013In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.

While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Team Unveils Restyled V-Rod Drag Bikes
Fri, 09 Mar 2012The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
