2006 Shovel-Head Rigid Custom Harley Davidson My husband built this Shovel-head for a brother of ours. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of anyone's control it came back to my husband. There is nothing wrong with her that some TLC would not fix. My husband does not want to spend anymore time on it. If you have ANY questions please email us. She has less then 3500 miles on a rebuilt 1200cc 80"shovel-head & New Revtech 6 speed trany, SS & oil pump, SS super E Carburetor. PM duel front brakes, GMA rear brakes, BDL 3" belt drive,push button electric start, mini shock absorber seat springs, O ring chain rear drive. New Avon Venom X tires 100/90/19 front, 160/80/16 in rear. Chrome Bilet FWD controls, 18" chubby ape-hangers, shotgun drag pipes. Airbrushed grizzley bear art work on stretched 5 gallon tanks & fenders. Over $15,000 invested. She runs great!! Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
