Harley-Davidson Other description
2006 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, FLSTF/FLSTFI Fat Boy - First released in 1990, the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy instantaneously earned legendary status among fans of The Motor Company. One year later, it made it's big screen debut in Terminator 2. The original Fat Boy was affectionately called ‘the gray ghost’ because that was the only color it was available in. Well, that is no longer the case. In 2006, the Fat Boy was introduced with a wider rear tire, 200 mm, and a nice wide fender to compliment it. The Twin Cam 88B motor provides both great power and a smooth ride, while on the road. The 5 gallon gas tank allows for fewer stops when you're out on longer rides. Underneath you, is a wide seat and rider floorboards for added comfort when you're feeling the wind in your face. Now, as much as Harley-Davidson has already done with the Fat Boy at the factory, this bike has been taken to the next level. With the addition of a windshield, engine guard, saddlebags, passenger backrest, and a luggage rack, you may as well classify this one as a touring model. For a more personal look, the floorboards, grips, & highway pegs have been upgraded to the Harley-Davidson Flame Collection. While personal touches were being added, the switch housing and levers received a chrome upgrade, and the air cleaner cover, derby cover, and timing cover were outfitted with "Live to Ride" accenting. With all of this said, there is still more to be seen. But, you can't do it sitting there, reading this description and looking at photos. So, call Ric today, schedule an appointment, and test ride this beauty. (512)652-1229/590-1994 or Ric@CentralTexasH .

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared
Thu, 11 Dec 2008What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.
