And it is—a full 100cc bigger. That’s right. For the first time ever, and only for a short while, we’re offering a stock motorcycle with a 1550cc, 95 cubic inch engine. All this added power comes compliments of a Screamin’ Eagle Big Bore kit. Get behind the controls of this up-sized engine with super-smooth EFI and you’ll see it fits right in with the rest of the machine’s girth. Huge forks. Giant floorboards. Mammoth light and nacelle. The tank cloisonné is plated in 24k gold. The oil tank gets color treatment to match the engine. It’s easy to see there’s a whole lot to love about this Fat Boy. But get in the new Badlander-inspired seat, set the chrome disc wheels in motion, and you instantly realize life can’t be lived any larger. Choose it in silver or black. But don’t dawdle. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
