Harley-Davidson Other description

2005 Harley-Davidson FLHT/FLHTI Electra Glide Standard, FLHT - The Electra Glide Standard is all about going to faraway places, pure and simple. If it’s needed, it’s here. If it isn’t, you won’t have to strip it off. The long haul calls for tried-and-true power. So the Twin Cam 88 engine obliges. Try it with carb or EFI, depending on how pure and simple you like things. Because comfort is also a must, you’ll ride on an air-adjustable suspension, nestled in a plush seat. If ever you feel the need to stop, you’ll find triple-disc brakes at your command. Fork-mounted batwing fairing complete with speedo and tach. Lockable hardbags. Roomy floorboards. And for the first time ever, we’re offering colors beyond black. If the need arises, you can always add on with Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories. Or simply head off to meet a distant horizon, packed light and riding pure.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
