Great color! - Rake out the front end, lower the rear suspension and whittle down the seat, and you get a beautiful long and low custom that delivers a look and feel like nothing else. So, it should come as no surprise the Low Rider model has been a favorite since day one and never looked back. Today’s version sports a pullback bar, mid-mount foot controls and a low-slung seat that’s just over 25" off the pavement. Experiencing long and low has never felt more right. You get highway pegs and a fat rear tire. This year, we couldn’t help but stretch the tank, giving the bike an even longer look. And we made EFI an option to the traditional carb Twin Cam 88 engine. The Motor Company dropped a short music-themed teaser video titled “Instrument of Expression,” to promote the announcement, and offer a few tantalizing glimpses of the new model. Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day

Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
