Harley-Davidson Other description

2003 Harley-Davidson FXSTD/FXSTDI Softail Deuce, 100th Anniversary Softail Deuce! - 100th Anniversary FXSTD/FXSTDI Softail Deuce Beneath its gleaming coat of Luxury Blue paint, the Softail Deuce is just what it was born to be. A long, lean, bold dose of prime Milwaukee iron. In other words, awesome. Most will find it hard to believe it sprung direct from the factory crate. Just take a look at the stretched fuel tank and chrome console. Pure custom. The front forks are sculpted and chromed. The rear fender is unique, with a straight-cut dragster profile. You also get shotgun dual exhaust and an 18” solid rear wheel with a fat 160mm tire. A Twin Cam 88B powertrain. And enough chrome for the heartiest of chrome addicts. It all comes together with a look and feel like nothing else around. Just what a factory custom motorcycle should be. * MSRP may not reflect vehicle shown. Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
