2002 Harley-Davidson XL 1200C Sportster 1200 Custom, . - Raw-boned styling housed in a narrow, nimble frame. Carrying on a tradition started in 1957, the Sportster family continues its evolution, providing quick, responsive handling, a flat torque curve and raw, racy style. This year, all Sportster models receive the popular bullet-style turn signals first introduced in 2000 on the FXSTD. In addition, a more rigid exhaust flange connects the exhaust system to the cylinder heads, providing improved styling and a more durable exhaust system. Finally, a new fuel shut off valve provides a more tactile feel between the on and off setting, and enhanced styling. The Sportster 883, 883 Hugger and Sportster 1200 continue to bring new riders into the sport, and introducing them to the world of Harley-Davidson by combining fun and value. Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA. Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.

Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
