2002 Harley Davidson Heritage. This bike has been taken care of and kept on stand during winter months. All fluids and oil have been changed by a Harley Dealer regularly. There is 40,948 miles on odometer but this motor has been gone through by a dealer. Ignition Coil is brand new, Crank Position sensor is brand new, new plugs and wires. Fresh Oil and filter with only about 10 miles road after change. Custom Silver Metalic paint was added about 4 years ago. RUSH exhaust added 2 years ago. Ridewright Fat bars wheels 21"Front and 18"Rear. Metzler Tires on front and back still in good condition and have good tread left. Custom rear LED tail light. Custom 12" handle bars with Harley grips. Klockwerks rear fender Stock Harley front fender and tank. Added chrome trim and accessories. There are some blemishes, right rear turn signal is not working and you cant just replace the bulb. Only 1 passenger floor board, right side is missing. Mirror has a small crack. Front trim on very tip of front fender is missing. This has been a fun bike for me, but I'm selling to help with daughters car. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. I will work with buyer on getting bike to a ship location or easy pick up location. |

Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.

Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats. A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike. The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.
Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
