Harley-Davidson Other description

2001 Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider, **This 2001 Harley FXDL Dyna Low Rider Is Loaded With Extras Like Thunderstar Wheels & More!<< - The Low Rider has appeared, in one incarnation or another, for almost as long as we’ve built factory customs. It will always be a bike riders look to when they want to see it done right. The long 32º front end, highway pegs and buckhorn handlebar set up a riding posture that makes the traditionalist grin. The Fat Bob fuel tank carries a center console with tach and speedo. Just below, in chrome and wrinkle black, is the third generation of Big Twin to power a Low Rider. Eighty-eight cubic inches strong, and riding in proven Dyna Glide rubber mounts. Twist the throttle and it speaks a language even non-riders understand. The Low Rider. Long, low and massive. Just like it should be.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
