2001 Harley-Davidson FLSTF/FLSTFI Fat Boy, Orchard Park Store - ONLY 3056 MILES, Vance Hines Exhaust,Windshield - Classic styling combined with modern engineering. Like all Softails, Harley's Fat Boy is now available in either carbureted or injected models. One improvement not limited to the Softail series involves a change to the oil system. All 2001-model Harley-Davidson motorcycles filter their oil prior to entering the engine, rataher than upon leaving the engine enroute to the remote oil tank, meaning critical engine components receive cleaner oil.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
