Harley-Davidson Other description

Starting life as a 2001 Electraglide, this bike has went through a total transformation. The bike is a 16000 mile twin cam 88 carburated bike with a 5 speed transmission. A full chromed frontend was added along with raked trees. The front wheel is a 23 inch RC Components Wheel with a matching 18 inch rear wheel. The bike has a cool two tone green candy paint scheme that is in really good condition with a couple of touch ups from normal wear and tear. Paul Yaffee apes were used along with RC true dual exhaust, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD with flip up screen, chrome controls and custom mirrors. The bike rides super and commands attention! DONT MISS THIS ONE! C

He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
