2001 FLHT(Electra Glide) 88", fuel injection and a 5 speed transmission with 8700 miles. This bike has been transformed into a work of art starting at the front with the 26" front rim wrapped with zee rubber. The bike has a new low profile front fender along with front air suspension to allow the bike to be raised and lower over 3 inches. The front fairing is also lowered which allows the metal lower fairing to be removed to give an nice flowing look that transfers into the stretched and smoothed tank and console. These lines continue to flow back to the custom built and stitched suede seat and stretched rear bags and fender. The rear also has air ride allowing the bike to be raised almost 10", when parked or being ridden the bike is an attention getter. The beautiful lines and flowing curves give life to this ride. Bike also features custom dynamic license plate cover with run/turn/brake lights integrated into the frame, also the HID Xenon headlight with demon eye contains hidden led turn signals. Radio is a marine grade MB quart with Alpine speakers and many other features. Gray stripes are a vinyl graphic and can be removed quite easily.

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.

Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
