1999 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide, FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide - The Ultra Classic Electra Glide is our way of taking everything good about motorcycle travel, and dialing it up to the max. Start with sound. You get a 40-watt-per-channel AM/FM/cassette with weather band, rear speakers, separate passenger controls and dual antenna. Plus a built-in C.B./voice-actuated intercom with helmet-mounted headset. The only thing that sounds better is the voice of the Twin Cam 88 engine urging you on. It’s glittering with chrome, and fed by sequential port fuel injection. Also included are fairing lowers, full hard luggage and our accurate tap-up-tap-down cruise control. Plus, a cloisonné emblem on the tank. That’s the Ultra Classic way to travel.

In the week since Harley-Davidson announced Project LiveWire, the Motor Company has posted several open positions on its online job board calling for applicants with a background in electric vehicles and electromechanical engineering. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
Harley-Davidson Reveals “Twin-Cooled” Engine with Precision Liquid Cooling
Mon, 19 Aug 2013As we gleaned from recently revealed CARB documents, Harley-Davidson has introduced two new liquid cooled engines. The new engines use a combination of air-cooling and precision liquid cooling, similar to what BMW did with its 2013 R1200GS. One version of the engine, dubbed the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 will be used on the 2014 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited and the Tri-Glide Ultra trike while the CVO Limited will use a 110ci engine known as the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110.
