Harley-Davidson Other description

1998 Harley-Davidson Low Rider , Wife is pregnant... I bought this bike from the original owner who was a very old man. He didn't change anything on it except the exhaust and the seat. It had 40k on it. I rebuilt the top-end around 50k miles with a mild-med build including K&N Air intake, V&H Longshots, 9.5 SERDI Street Port Heads, new lifters/tappets, Bore +.020 cylinders, 9.5:1 Keith Black Pistons, Morrosso wires, SE pluss, Andrews EV27 cam, Andrews Adjustable PRs, Ulitma and Single Fire Ignition. I had the bike Dyno'ed after the build and have papers on almost everything. It starts like a new bike and runs great. It has 53k on it, which is 3k on the new build. I absolutely baby it. I just put a rear tire on it 1k miles ago and the front is in great shape. Comes with windshield, saddle bags, and HD touring seat. The bars are Wildones Outlawz in 10 in Wildone 3.5 risers. If you know about bikes see no corners were cut here, only the best went into it. The bad..ish It is purple...not like Barney purple but kinda maroon meets purple. Not really that bad. It has road rash on the exhaust about the size of a dollar bill, the previous owner dropped it coming into his drive way and decided he was too old to ride...sold it to me. The blinkers do not blink. You have to push the button to make it turn on and off. This is not an electrical issue. I installed LED lights on the forks and did not know I needed a plug and play load equalizer. This may be fixed depending on how long before you reply to this. About $50 and 15min to install. Read about it here. :// /Tech-Pages/WHICH-LOAD-SHOULD-I-USE.htm The primary leaks just enough to drip once or twice when it gets hot. I have paperwork where all the primary/transmission seals and gaskets were replaced. No joyrides. Text anytime or call after 5:00 pm Joseph 901-573-8445 $6,800.00 9015738445

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
