This machine has had a very easy life and has been incredibly well maintained. It not only looks fantastic but it produces plenty of usable horsepower. It has the reliable and easy to work on carbureted Cubic Inch Motor and the smooth shifting speed transmission. The bike is tight and dry and when you see it you would never believe it has covered miles!This bike starts right up and drives well. 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod 10th Anniversary Edition and Updated Night Rod Unveiled
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its V-Rod line with a few updates as well as a special edition model. First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.
Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
Harley-Davidson Extends UFC Sponsorship; UFC 164 Added to 110th Anniversary Celebrations
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The new agreement will see the mixed martial arts company hold its UFC 164 event Aug. 31 in Milwaukee’s Bradley Center during Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations over the Labor Day weekend.
