I hate to sell my baby, but like most of us I came upon a rough patch in life.
This was a ground up build with a lot of time and money invested. Rebuilt 360 (kept stock)-Rebuilt 4 speed manual--Differentials (4:10)--Brakes Wheel and axle bearings--Hayes heavy duty clutch pack--4" Sky Jacker lift--runs, drives and shifts excellent and is a Daily Driver. Paint is driver quality and still looks great. ALL good glass and everything works as it should including ice cold A/C. 100% Mechanically perfect and RUST FREE. Could use a minor tweaking on body lines...I am a mechanic not a body man but I got it real close. Interior is excellent and I will include tool box and Cobra 29 CB. I would do a 50/50 trade for a Harley Wide Glide or Softail. Must be in Excellent condition with good tires and road ready.. Evolution or Twin Cam ONLY with less than 35xxx miles. I will also consider an Indian Scout as long as it is 80ci or betterand have ALL lights. *The price is $12,500 Firm and want a good $6000 motorcycle / $6000 CASH to me and $500 put in Pay Pal. New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. In the week since Harley-Davidson announced Project LiveWire, the Motor Company has posted several open positions on its online job board calling for applicants with a background in electric vehicles and electromechanical engineering.
