1984 Harley-Davidson FXRDG. This is a very rare bike. There was only 1 made for each dealer in 1984. Approx. 700 to 800. Exact number is hard to verify. This is a 1984 and 1/2. First EVO, last chain drive, first laser painted tank, first stock solid aluminum rear wheel, first rubber mounted engine, first attempt at a Dyna Glide. I have heard it called a Disc Glide also and haven't been able to verify. I am the original owner and bought this bike in Texas in 1984. I have all the original paperwork. I have found the value of this bike to increase each year. Hard to put an exact value on it but if you are a collector I think it would be a great addition. My wife and I ride very little anymore and fixing to hit the road in an RV. Would be willing to look at reasonable offers. In 2009 I had the frame powder coated and cleaned and polished each part of bike. I have the original signal lights, foot pegs and other items. The bike is 95% original. Harley-Davidson‘s Stereotypical Harley campaign became a big part of the company’s advertising efforts in 2012, featuring real Harley-Davidson owners and showcasing the large diversity of its riders. Fighting against preconceptions can be difficult but Harley-Davidson has some numbers to prove its motorcycles are popular with other demographics including young adults, women and minorities.
Storm Tears Facade Off Colorado Harley-Davidson Dealership
Tue, 09 Apr 2013A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
