198 Harley Davidson shovelhead this bike has 10, 462 orginal miles. Been sitting in garage for a long time. orginal owner a friend of mine who had brain cancer and could not ride he bought it new then became sick. I got the bike and had Harley go through all gaskets and fluids and seals and anything else that came up.(have receipts from Harley and local shop this bike is in attractive condition and rides like a dream. I just took it back to the shop and had all the clutch plates done brand new. I have had the bike 2000mis or so. I still ride it once a week or so. Paint is good few chips here and there orignal hard locking bags, backrest. the front rim has small rust spot on it few bolt heads are rusty but overall killer bike. brand new whitewall tires front and back. nice perla gel seat. everything works as it should..

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
