I recently inherited a 1982 Harley Sturgis. What's cool about this bike is its highly collectible, and gains in value. The bike has a 1340cc shovel head motor with both electric and kick start. It runs and drives good, but does need a little work. Recently had a oil change, new oil filter, new fuel filter, various replaced hoses and a new crankshaft seal. It wouldn't hurt to give the bike a nice wipe down and tune up although, nothing major. There is another seal that needs replaced near the tranny i haven't got to yet. Only 17k miles on her. This bike is a head turner and gets a lot of looks due to people not seeing them very often. I'm open to cash offers but really looking to trade for a big dog or chopper of some sort. Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
