Harley-Davidson Other description

THIS IS A MATCHING NUMBERS 1979 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH

                                       SHOVELHEAD !

It is a one owner bike who had a reputable motorcycle business do a ground up restoration 4 years ago...thus the low mileage on the speedometer.

As you can see from the pics, it is painted a candy apple red with custom flames on the tank. The motor runs fine...leaks a little oil like a Harley should. Brake pads are new. Tires are in good shape. Has upgraded ignition system and all the lights work.

Transmission linkage will need to be replaced...other than that, it still shifts fine.

I also have a set of leather saddle bags that came with it.

Call Ernie at 505-907-6283 if you have any questions.

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
