1978 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead, 1978shovelhead. New dual compound michellin tires. New 13 1/2 shocks, tranny seals, stator,regulator, sprockets geared 24-43. First gear pulls to 60 mph. This bike runs strong and handles great. New s&s block, bored 80 over with high lift cam, wiesco pistons, accell coil, running points ignition. Extra fat bob tanks, 2 drag pipes, and a box of new base and top end gaskets ($225). This is a good bike that i've put a lot of time and money into. “The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.

New Harley-Davidson Book Ties Together The Company’s Past

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson.
