Up for your consideration is a nicely rebuilt 1978 Harley that I went through last winter. The bike was a low mile custom when I picked it up for the rebuild and was still on the standard bore. It is now freshened up with a .010 over bore, new valves, Andrews B cam, an S&S oil pump and Super E carb. I also went through the transmission and everything else on the bike so it runs, rides and stops like it should. 3" Primo belt drive and kick only and to the retro look of this cool old Shovel head, and you just don't see many rolling around anymore. Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
