1976 FLH, matching numbers 93" stroker, original paint, less than 11k original miles, was completely rewired, frame freshly powder coated, upgraded charging system, true dual pipes with fishtails, 16" apes, new 82-95 controls, new tires, everything new. Less than 500 mis since completion. Over $17,000 invested since March. Have paperwork for all parts and work. Have all the original saddle bag rails, crash bar, etc etc. Do not contact me telling me it isnt worth it. NADA lists a stock FLH in terrific condition at over $13,000. Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
