Harley-Davidson Other description

1976 Aermacchi / AMF Harley-Davidson SS 125

This motorcycle is NOT running, and has not been ridden since the late 1970's when it was stored with a cover over it in a climate-controlled basement. I have not attempted to start it because the tank and carburetor need cleaning. There is rust in the tank, however I'm under the impression that it can be coated and salvaged. There are some small cosmetic scratches, and a few tears in the seat. The front turn signals are missing. The bike's chrome, body, and all other areas are in surprisingly good condition for a bike of this age.

Everything on this bike is factory original. Original tires, fenders, paint, seat, right down to the handle bars, grips and foot pegs.

Bike has a clear Pennsylvania title. Also included is the original owner's manual. This very collectible, unmolested survivor would be a perfect candidate for an easy complete restore.

Item is advertised locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Payment by cash for local pick up in person. No PayPal. Must be paid for & picked up within 7 days unless arrangements are made otherwise. Bidders with less than 10 ratings must contact me first, otherwise your bid will be cancelled. You are welcome to come and inspect the bike in person before you bid.

This vehicle is being sold as is, there is no warranty, expressed, written or implied.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
