Harley-Davidson Other description

Here's a real survivor-a Harley Z90 that is perfectly usable!!! I am a lifelong professional bike mechanic and I bought this bike from some people who I think bought it new. Don't know for sure but I think they quit using it because  the voltage regulator went bad judging from the disconnected wires and it looks like it spent most of its' previous life in a garage. Speedo shows low 800+ miles and of course I can't certify that but the tires look original and have very little wear on them! Its not showroom condition but is really quite nice given its age with dings and scratches here and there. I went through and cleaned, adjusted and replaced everything as neccessary to bring it to good operating condition. I replaced the voltage regulator with a modern aftermarket one and the charging system works great as do the lights. It has oil injection (japanese) and a japanese ignition system. It is amazingly powerful for a 90cc bike and rides, shifts, and stops fine. Very little rust of any kind indicating that it has been inside most of its life (see pictures). I'm not trying to get rich off this bike but just want my money back and a little for my labor. Check my feedback-never an unhappy customer. Call me (Rick) at 308-430-1778 (cell) or send an e-mail if you have any question. Happy bidding!!!

A (Not So) Silent Night from Harley-Davidson – Video

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
