1971 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FLH, 1971 Harley Davidson FLH - Title matches the frame number. The unit has S&S cases, S&S cylinder heads & S&S cylinders. The motor is a 93ci S&S shovel head. 3 5/8 bore, 4 1/2 in stroke, late model 514 cam which is 78-84 & 73-91 style S&S oil pump. Super-G carb.....the engine information can be confirmed through S&S with the case number which is *A02620*.This motorcycle is not going to last. Super nice motorcycle taken in as a trade, would love to keep it! This is ready to ride and you can ride it home!! Wheels & tires in good shape, seems to have little primary leak, nothing bad. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.

In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

Tue, 20 Dec 2022Fat Boy 114 and Heritage Classic 114 getting 120th Anniversary Editions Harley-Davidson turns 120 next year, which naturally means we’re getting some special Anniversary Edition models. Thanks to new vehicle certification data from Australia, we can confirm that the Heritage Classic 114 and the Fat Boy 114 will be receiving 120th Anniversary Editions. The Australian certification for Harley-Davidson’s Softail models was updated today, adding mentions of two new model codes: “FLFBSANV,” and “FLHCSANV,” both with vehicle identification number codes that indicate 2023 models.
