1969 Harley-Davidson Police Servi-Car
Kankakee Illinois Police Unit True barn find in as found condition from south of Kankakee Looks like its been sitting for quite some time Mostly complete intact survivor Havent touched it other than to wash all the dirt off 45 Cubic Inch Flathead Motor Good Motor number that matches the Title VIN Fibreglass box is fairly nice but it does have one cracked area on left rear just above the fender, see pictures Some one worked the electric start housing over and removed the electric starter assembly I will include a good replacement housing/tranny top as well as all of the electric start parts I could find Also I will include the other parts shown in the picture of the inside of the box It does turn over I think the front head spark plug hole is stripped but it could be the threads are just full of metal? Look closely at the picture showing the underside of the box, the box frame has been cut, shortened and then recut but not repaired Gonna need some attention Know what your buying as there are no returns on this item All questions cheerfully answered Need to see a particular area? Just ask and I will add more pictures Great winter project, get it running and ride it Perfect for a restoration |

Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.

Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA. Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.
