1969 Harley-Davidson Rapido

Up for sale is a really cool 1969 Harley Davidson Rapido. I don't know much about the bike, but it runs great and has an awesome look to it. If you have found this ad, you may have more information on it than I do. I purchased it to use as a decoration piece in my man cave, but to be honest it is too nice to just hang up on the wall since it runs. I would hope that someone would buy it an potentially use it! It was in the Stone Mountain GA Harley Davidson museum for most of its life. It has 1102 miles on it. You could restore it, or just use it like it is. I think it looks great!

For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
