1968 Harley Davidson FLH  Electra-glide

Ready to ride 1968 FLH Generator Shovelhead
This bike belongs to a friend of mine. He bought it back in 1992. He had it painted original red back in 1994.
It's a good running and riding bike. He had motor rebuilt by Harley Dealer several years ago but hasnt had time to ride and we're guessing it probably has 2k miles or less on rebuild.
Bike will come with either the solo seat or the buddy seat which ever you choose. He had solo on it but wanted to ride his lady and kid so I traded him solo seat for buddy seat.
the front fender has a bad spot in paint caused by me back in the 90's with a buffer. My buddy has always kept a bandaid over it.
Bike has clear ohio title. I will be glad to answer any questions. Bike is in Danbury North Carolina. We will be glad to accept a small deposit through paypal. The rest can be paid cash or bank transfer.
We will be glad to refer a motorcycle shipper.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Mon, 16 Feb 2009

The best place to see the latest and greatest motorcycle gadgets and goodies before they hit the shelves of your local dealer is at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo. Unfortunately, you have to be an exhibitor, dealer or member of the media to attend. Luckily, we fall into the latter category.
