What a find! 1964 Harley Davidson FLH Panhead. Fully documented (2) owners, numbers matching case /belly, stock untouched frame. (0) Miles since undergoing a total nut and bolt restoration, internally and externally. Low end, top end done, crank balanced and blue printed, piston, rings, transmission, clutch, every part, cable bearing to much to list look at the white wall tires. Bike has a non stock Super "E" Carb. Bikes is being sold do to health issues at a fraction of it cost, its restoration (not including the bike), was 20k alone. Bike has been on display in a climate controlled office and has been started on a weekly basis for many years. This is a running, riding bike that is in amazing condition and last year of kick start! Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?
Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
