Harley-Davidson Other description

This is a 1963 Harley Sprint 250 model H.  This bike is very rare from what I understand.  I am going to attempt to describe as much as I know about this bike.  Please know I am not perfect and most likely may not have something noted that could potentially be important to you.  I do not want any problem after the sale.  Very clearly this bike is available for you to physically look at it and run it.  If you choose not to then please no fussing after the sale.  The bike is sold in as in condition and all sales are final.  The bike has a clear Ohio title notarized and blank on the back for you to put your name. That is the way the title sits and that is the way it is no exceptions.

The bike is a good running bike.  Run/shifts good. Starts on the first or second kick everytime. does not smoke in anyway.   It has some slight fuel delivery problem which appears that the carb may need cleaned/adjusted in combination the throttle cable moves the rpms up and down when you wiggle it also the pipe does not appear to have a baffle in it and is not oem.  So between the carb, throttle cable, and pipe you should be able to easy get this bike dialed in perfect.  Like I said it still runs pretty good the way it sits.   Mainly not running perfect because it has been sitting  for awhile.  Best thing this bike need is to be run and loved.

Bike has a fresh paint job which looks very presentable but not sprayed on professionally. chain guard appears to just have a primer coat of paint on it. I think the seat ,bags, and windshield are not OEM but all look good. Most all the chrome looks very presentable but does have pitting visible close-up.  The tires have lots of tread but have cracks.  They potentially could be originals but I just don’t know for certain.  They are Dunlop gold seal.  The horn and headlight don’t work, missing taillight.  Odometer read just over 4600 miles.  The title reads 4999.  The odometer cable/pick-up broke 400 miles ago and the previous owner wanted the proper miles to be accurate on the title.  I believe the miles are true and correct.  The numbers on the frame, motor, and title all match perfectly. Serial number is 63H35**.  I am not giving out the last two digits to protect my numbers from theft. In my opinion that is a very low serial number.   The ignition switch may not be oem.  All I know is the only key I have is the ignition key and it does not work for the neck lock.  The mirror arm is bent downward and most likely not oem.  The grips are oem but heavy crack makes them in poor condition.  Front brakes work very good. Rear brakes are weak but may just need adjusted. Sorry I did not look. The serial# on the bike is

Overall, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better 1963 H model.
