Vehicle is in Terrific Condition and has been kept in my carport. I purchased it from a local private seller who had not pre-owned it in a few years. I tuned up everything and repainted much of it; adding the silver and striping and some chrome. There is some normal wear on the trike : small pitting on the forks and a few hairline cracks on the fiberglass on the shell. The speedometer is electronic and needs to be calibrated. I added a tachometer. Seats are fine; all hydraulic brake, clutch and throttle. Alternator conversion. New mag wheels and tires. New Empi shifter. Always a head turner, and is FUN to drive. Only reason I am letting it go is that I now have four VWs plus my two everyday drivers and my garage and driveway are full. I am also listing a 1979 VW Super Beetle Convertible with Fuel Injection!

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
