Harley-Davidson Other tech info
Harley-Davidson Other description
This is a great example of a road worthy daily driver that has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. every roller and needle bearing was mic'ed and ensured to be the correct size for the application. I have test ridden this bike for over 200 miles, to make sure everything works great and it does. The speedo drive gear has failed and I ordered a new one that I now have and is included in the sale. This bike is not show quality but was built to be driven. it has been upgraded to a 12V electrical system. I have cruised this bike at 60 MPH and ridden in 100+ degree heat. it didn't skip a beat. this is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if I get my price. I will not remove this bike if it meets the reserve here first. I put this Bike in a local show and won. I have included a photo of the trophy but it does not go with the bike. This is a fantastic running bike and You won't be disappointed. Please ask any questions that you have. Thank You for looking and Happy bidding. Please bid responsibly. |

Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
