1949 Harley Davidson Panhead Captain America Tribute Bike. The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt buy a professional using new STD heads. Cases are stamped original 1949 cases and all the chrome is polished to a mirror finish. The S&S Super E carb was recently cleaned and rejetted so well as timing set for an easier start. Tires have lots of tread and no dry rot. Bike has a new lithium ion battery for lots of spark and was serviced in the spring by a PH.D. Harley Technician. This bike turns heads and drops jaws. It's been a best of show winner multiple times. Bike runs well but has not been ran very much this season. I am only selling this bike due to a spinal injury that has left me unable to ride. I would love to see her ridden and displayed by someone who can appreciate and enjoy her. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. Bike comes with a 1977 NJ title. I am willing to deliver within 50 miles of zip code 08037 for free possibly farther for a nominal fee. There is a reserve of 9k. Qianjiang-Built 353cc Harley-Davidson Inches Closer to Production
Tue, 15 Mar 2022VIN decoder confirms 353cc Parallel-Twin engine A small displacement Harley-Davidson model developed with Chinese manufacturer Qianjiang may finally be nearing production. The prospective 350cc model has been in the works since 2019, and despite design filings of the bike and a look at the Harley-branded engine, we haven’t heard any official statement on when it will go into production. Harley-Davidson first showed renderings of its small-displacement model in 2019.
