1949 Harley Davidson Panhead Captain America Tribute Bike. The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt buy a professional using new STD heads. Cases are stamped original 1949 cases and all the chrome is polished to a mirror finish. The S&S Super E carb was recently cleaned and rejetted so well as timing set for an easier start. Tires have lots of tread and no dry rot. Bike has a new lithium ion battery for lots of spark and was serviced in the spring by a PH.D. Harley Technician. This bike turns heads and drops jaws. It's been a best of show winner multiple times. Bike runs well but has not been ran very much this season. I am only selling this bike due to a spinal injury that has left me unable to ride. I would love to see her ridden and displayed by someone who can appreciate and enjoy her. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. Bike comes with a 1977 NJ title. I am willing to deliver within 50 miles of zip code 08037 for free possibly farther for a nominal fee. There is a reserve of 9k. Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.
Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home
Tue, 04 Feb 2014If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
