Harley-Davidson Other description

Frisco Style Panhead Chopper with less than 1000 miles since built. Matching cases 1948 Panhead engine was completely rebuilt and upgraded with a High Lift cam, S&S Carb, and custom exhaust. There was a weld repair around the timing hole done and it has a slight crack along that repair which is very common on these old engines. It does not leak or affect performance in any way. (detailed pic Below) Starts first kick and runs real strong, just took it on a 300 mile round trip to Bisbee, AZ for the "Howl and Prowl" MC show. 4 speed trans shifts perfect. Belt drive primary. Rigid frame with girder style springer. Juice drum in back and the front has a Hallcraft hub with brake that works well enough to hold you on a hill. Custom hand tooled leather Bates seat. Fat Bob Tanks with Custom airbrushed skulls. Jammer speedometer mounted on custom made Z Bars. Bitchin bike ready to ride, just serviced with Brad Penn 50w oil. Minor chips and touch ups, this bike is a rider not a show queen. Has typical oil leaks, but nothing out of the ordinary. Ready to hop on and Go! Questions? Email or call Anthony at 520-990-7932. Titled as a 1948 Harley Davidson.

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.
