Harley 1947 WL-45 Flat Head with sidecar. Only 1,295 miles ago this bike was professionally restored top to bottom maintaining its classic authenticity utilizing key functionality updates. Electric and kick start, 3 speed tank shifter with reverse added, not a G motor, stock foot clutch also has a hand clutch. Disc brake in the front, Improved oil pump, oil cooler, 12v system, anti vibration floor boards, Mukuni carb, HD saddle bags, new battery, tires. Sidecar has own brakes and lights. This bike runs drives and stops like a new bike and is the most fun you will ever have driving it. Bikes case is 47E14369 which matches it's free and clear NV Title. EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
