Harley-Davidson Other description

1947 Harley Servicar. Nice old original. I had plans for this thing then they changed to different plans for this thing, then... well, I have overextended myself project wise and need to see this go to someone else so I can concentrate on my other project builds, and family, and finances, and life... hahah soooooooo.....

Wearing a myriad of colors, the original dark blue is popping through everywhere as the paint flakes or chips away. The inside of the metal box is original paint as well. Appears to be all original sheetmetal as that Harley Blue is everywhere under all that paint. Has not ran since 1991 and I do not know how well it did then. I have not had it long. The speedo is aftermarket but aside from that I do not know of any other parts on it that are not Harley but I am not an expert. It has some rust in the fenders and parts of the box. I tried to take pictures of everything so please study them closely as it will do a better job describing itself then I will. Both fuel and oil tanks are dry and appear to not be rusted through anywhere. I put some Marvel Oil down into the cylinders before slowly cranking it through a cycle or two. So... motor turns. Again not sure of condition of anything, just was told it ran in '91 and that is when it was last registered for the road. It has currently on a non op. Tires are old, one is flat. Frame appears to be solid, with one possible break near a weld where to pipes come together, right side where frame extends toward right rear wheel. See pic. Easy weld. Unsure of actual mileage. Some pitting across rear of box on outside in a kind of line across panel, see pic. Something must have been mounted above bumper and retained moisture. Square hole cut there too, small, again see pic. A few wires are loose. Really what you see is what you get, please ask any questions prior to bidding. I had not gotten around to transfer title to me until recently after deciding to sell, so title is in process and I should have it within a couple weeks and is free and clear and in my name (when it comes). I am also out of town for the next few weeks anyway, arriving back around the 25th of July so pickup will have to be after that.

Located an hour north of Hollywood in Lebec, CA right off the Interstate 5 freeway. A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction end. Bidders with 2 or less feedback must contact me before bidding or will have their bids removed. The remaining amount is due cash on pickup within two weeks of auction end. If shipping, remaining amount can be wired to my bank account. Only paypal for deposit, nothing more please. Local pickup. Title and release of liability will reflect actual sale price. I do not lie and say $500... Sorry, honest in all I do which includes my dealings with you!

Any questions do not hesitate to ask.  I have represented it as best I can. Good Luck!
