This Bike was built to be ridden and runs fantastic with less than 500 miles in 9 years, It's time to sell her as she gets ridden only to shows and around the block or up to Salt Lake City on rare occasion so it's time to sell her.

This Beautiful Knucklehead was built in 2003 in Eureka Ca. and Features "Flying Tiger" nose art, Hot Rod style pinstriping, and Mousetrap/Foot shift. The engine is 74 cubic inch, Andrews mild S Cam, S&S E body Carburator, Cylinders are New Brown Co. Made in the USA Standard Bore. Primary is Belt Driven, Transmission has FLH 4 Speed Gears, Spin on Oil Filter at rear of Primary Cover, Distributor is Custom Made, Air Scoop is Fiberglass with metal mount which supports VDO Oil Gauge. Front End is Trimmed Triple Trees and Lower Legs with OEM Panhead Front Brake, Bars are Flanders with OEM Waffle Grips. Rear Fender is Cut Down OEM Knucklehead, Custom Tail Light, Gas Tanks are Modified Panhead with Catseye Dash and OEM Knucklehead Speedometer, Frame is Reconditioned Knucklehead That has been Deraked. Built in Northern and Registered and Titled under California's strictest Codes.

Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $247.3 million over the second quarter of 2012, a 29.7% increase from a profit of $190.6 million from the same quarter in 2011. The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
