Harley-Davidson Other description
I've decided to sell this project bike I bought this last year. When I purchased it wasn't a project. I bought to learn a foot clutch bike. Bought in Missouri running and riding. When I brought it home under further investigation I found it had some damage to the springer forks and some poorly welded areas on the frame. I had 'The Straightinin King' out of ON repair the forks and I repaired the frame. Upon disassembly I also found the transmission had some issues that have been repaired, the timing cover was damaged so that was replaced, a New automatic 12 volt timer was installed, rest of bike is 12 volt as well. Mikuni carb conversion. 1,950 mis since a major restoration was carried out. New connecting rods, cylinders bored .040, new pistons and rings, modern radial tires, power coated rims Real HD 16" rear rim with front 18" new rim and stainless spokes and HD hub, New chain in box, Has repop parts on it but those are cheap either. Has a Michigan 41 HD title, Missouri had given it rivet on frame number sometime in the past as these bikes do not have frame numbers, just engine numbers for identification. So the Michigan title is for 41 HD w/a Missouri assigned VIN. I have a copy of the MO title. This is a Foot Clutch, Tank Shift bike. Currently a roller lightly assembled. I've spent over $1500 in the last year to 'repair' the issues I found the correct way. Paint not perfect but for me it was going to be a rider not a restore/show.
