Harley-Davidson Other description

1926 Harley-Davidson JD, This Harley-Davidson JD is an unusually rare find. This bike is definitely Museum Quality. 74 cu.in. (1200cc) engine was completely rebuilt. The engine cases are matching numbers and the VIN # on the title is correct. Clean Harley title. Good Year tires. This bike is very close to original, with the exception of the Seat which was correct Era from a different bike. This bike has been fully restored to original. It's been stored in a climate controlled facility for over 25 years since restoration. All oil seals etc. have been serviced regularly. The chrome and polished parts are beautiful as well as the paint. This bike is not only a looker, but it runs! It's definately museum or concourse quality JD but can aslo be taken for a weekend ride.

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Fri, 29 Jul 2022

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.

Relations between the U.S. and Cuba have been strained for decades but that hasn’t stopped some Cubans from enjoying a piece of Americana. About 70 Cuban Harley-Davidson riders (or “Harlistas” as they call themselves) gathered in the resort town of Varadero for the country’s first-ever Harley-Davidson rally.
