Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Harley Unveils Street Line in X Games Ice Racing Exhibition – Video

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Harley-Davidson will reveal its Street line of motorcycles to the US market at the X Games today with an ice racing exhibition. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
