Let me introduce you to Slingshot. This custom hand built bike is low, lean and fast. Built by Dave Mizur at DeVille Cycles. Everything is detailed so nice, like the leather, the split tank and oil lines. It has disc brakes front and back. With the hard tail grafted on the bike, it sets about 4 3/4 inches off the ground. The bike runs awesome. The tank started out as a 3 gallon mustang style, then split and paneled. Transforming it into a dual gas/oil design, since there is no room for a separate oil tank. The frame is painted House of Kolor Pale Gold with some ghost gold that really sets off the bikes brass. The body is House of Kolor Blue Flake that really pops in the sun. Slingshot took it's class trophy at Daytona 2009 Rat's Hole. There is a big write up on Slingshot in Easyrider magazine April 2011 also in Bikers Life Magazine Italy. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?

Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
