1999 Harley-Davidson CVO FXR 2. This is #224 of 900 from the first edition Harley CVO re-release of the FXR (Approx. 600 in Arresting Red and 300 in Stone Cold Blue). In fact, the FXR 2 is the first ever CVO model produced by Harley. This one in particular was purchased in 2010 from the original owner in Atlanta, Ga.

At 8750 original miles this FXR 2 was mechanically rebuilt and the original 1340cc Evolution Power plant was transformed into a 96cui Screaming Eagle Rocket. Then at 40000 miles (31250 miles on rebuilt engine), in the spirit of the classic “club” bike, It again went thru yet another transformation. With more custom parts and work than I can list, it is truly a “one of a kind” FXR 2.

The true motorcycle enthusiasts and Harley lovers know the history of the Willie G. Super Glide. It was the pinnacle of motorcycle design for Harley prior to this model being redesigned and the current Dyna glide being introduced. Most Harley riders swear that the FXR is the best performing (& it is) big-twin ever built by Harley. The newer Dyna’s can’t match the smooth ride and flawless handling of the FXR 2.

With a 21” front wheel, low seat height, progressive Fox Racing suspension & a 96 cubic inch Screaming Eagle Engine, this FXR 2 is unmatched in looks and performance. No expense has been spared in the upkeep, maintenance and customization of this ride since the day it was purchased. If you are looking for an FXR 2, and one that stands out from all the rest, this is truly a tough bike to match.

Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 and 965S Middleweight Adventure Bikes on the Way

Mon, 11 Apr 2022

RA975 and RA965S models appear on official Harley-Davidson website Last week, we broke the news confirming Harley-Davidsons next Sportster will be equipped with a 975cc version of the liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine, after spotting the model code RH975 mentioned on an official Harley accessory page. It turns out the next Sportster wasnt the only new model accidentally leaked by Harley-Davidson. Another accessory product listing, this time for a Pan America locking fuel cap, revealed two more model codes: the RA975 and RA965S.

The quarter was strong, compared to the previous year, with revenues ($1.14 billion vs $1.02 billion), operating income (profit of $4 million vs loss of $7 million) diluted earnings per share ($0.28 versus $0.14) showing increases in 2022.
