The FXR was the apex of the design, before the model was redesigned and the current Dynaglide was introduced. Unfortunately, the Dyna never met the smooth vibration-free ride, and the great handling of the FXR design. Many Harley enthusiasts swear that the FXR is best performing big-twin ever delivered by The Motor Company. This example is #80 from the special 1999 re-release of the FXR. Harley built 900 total FXR2s on the CVO production line. (Apx. 450 in Arresting Red and 450 in Stone Cold Blue were built.) If you like the classic look of the 21 front wheel, low seat height and eye-popping good looks, the FXR2 in Arresting Red is the only choice.
