Harley-Davidson FXR description

I am selling this bike to settle my Brother's estate. He had sold the bike to a friend on a payment plan. Payments were not received and I got the bike back upon my Brother's passing. The person who had the bike road it year round and did not properly care for it cosmetically hence the scratch on the tank, pitting, etc. The bike was however well cared for mechanically. I had it gone over by my mechanic including oil change and believe it is in very good mechanical condition. I put a new battery in earlier this year. This was be a great bike for customizing as this model is known for having the big frame. Many of these bikes have been converted to choppers due to the large frame. Included with the bike are saddlebags, sissy bar bag and windshield bag. The quick detach windshield is also included but will likely the windshield replaced. Please view the photos carefully and contact me with any questions as the sale is final with no returns. This bike is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Seller reserves the right to remove this bike from eBay as it is for sale locally.

When in Rome for Harley’s 110th

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing.  Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
