This is a very nice example of a good condition custom built FXRS 1340 shovelhead including the original style tank/ gauges/rear fender/ seat with custom green metallic paint w/ reaper airbrushed and body work


lots of custom and aftermarket parts(as listed below)
Original numbers matching FX frame and 80" shovelhead motor. Motor is electric start only(no kicker).

Very nice example of a classic/ custom fx setup. Isn't perfect, but close. 

does have a couple of small paint chips/scratches(see pics). 
engine/ trim detailing has some scratches and chips in finish from age.  Front fender paint is a slight shade off from the rest of the bike and was done at a different time.gas gauge/ fuel pressure gauges are inaccurate.

Starts up every time w/ 1-2 cranks tops.very reliable bike
Brakes are in excellent condition.Tires are in good condition w/ 50% tread left.

Engine doesnt smoke and has very good compression w/ no oil blow bye on the rings

Bike has a clean/ clear Numbers matching Michigan title

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?

Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
