Harley-Davidson Dyna description

PLEASE READ IT ALL AND ASK QUESTIONS BECAUSE ONCE YOU BOUGHT IT IT IS TOO LATE!

Great looking, a real head turner, has new deep gloss black paint, looks amazing, cost over $1800. I have the front fender too if someone wants to slide it back on.

This is a fast and loud custom 96 Dyna WG,  21,000 miles on it, with brand new $600 up-swept pipes wrapped for a nostalgic 70s look, and a $500 brown, tuck and roll custom one of a kind hand made leather seat and pad. Has new starter and fluid, It needs some finishing touches, carb has new jets and baffles, so needs adjusting to run correctly, I have not bothered as I'm not riding anymore, rear turns need hooking up, can't think of anything else, possibly clutch adjustment, but I rode it fine as is, it's just tight now and then, this bike is sold as is and no guarantees needs some TLC to make it 100%  $5500 won't get you a decent basket case, this is complete!  I just want it gone, I'm through with riding.  This is not a show bike but it would not take much to make it so.  It has a few very minor rust spots here and there around the screws, the sissy bar is an old 70s original,  need a clean, little surface rust and final bolting on.

Please do not contact me if you are not serious, I'm very busy!
Payments: $2000 deposit immediately at close of auction, that means within 24 hours.  The remainder to be paid within 72 hrs of auction close.  You can have 14 days  to collect the bike, if you have a service pick up they need to arrange with me the when and how, I will assist. 4 days notice is required for pick up after payment has cleared, I am not always on the premises.  If you can not pick up in 14 days a storage fee will be applied at a rate of $50.00 per day.

THIS BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY .

Harley-Davidson Christmas Commercial

Fri, 19 Dec 2008

Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.

Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. Here’s the full set of details on the ride from the press release: LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2012 – Organizers have announced that the much anticipated ’Ride to the Dunes’ for Child Abuse Awareness, led by Grand Marshal, Lorenzo Lamas, scheduled forSunday June 3, 2012 will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA to the serene Newport Dunes Resort, Newport Beach, CA.
