Harley-Davidson Dyna description

2003 Harley Davidson Dyna Superglide FXD – Anniversary Edition

I am selling this one owner Harley Davidson for a friend who has passed away.  It has not been ridden for the past two years because of his cancer.  There are ONLY 13,970 miles on it and it comes in a beautiful rare dark red factory paint.  Here is the information his wife has provided for the modifications done to it:

Highly modified motor that’s street-able and a very fast ¼ mile head jerker

Bored to 95 CI with 10 to 1 forged Harley Pistons

6 speed Screaming Eagle transmission, modified CV carb, high-fire ignition

600 lift cams with Redline lifters and heavy springs; Shift RPM at 7500

Extensive head work, ported, polished and chamber work

Screaming Eagle gear kit lowered by 4 teeth at the primary

High volume air intake and oil pump

Ã?  Vance-N-Hines Longshot Pipes

Ã?  Quick disconnect saddle bags and windshield

Ã?  Spoke wheels

Ã?  Braided steel lines

Ã?  Smoked turn signal lenses

Ã?  Upgraded grips with matching pegs

Blue Book value on this bike is $6,600 for the basic bike.  The modifications done were well over $2000.

For the reserve price you will get this bike with the above modifications.

If you choose "Buy it Now" and would like to negotiate an extra $600, you will get the bike plus over $1000 in extras including 2 extra seats, an extra backrest, all of the original non-chrome covers, the original wheels with tires that are in very good shape, the original exhaust system, original handle bars, leather tool pouch and more.  All of the extras are in near new to brand new condition. If you did buy the bike with the extras you could sell them yourself and make $1500 or more...otherwise I am going to sell them on my own eBay parts store- Rocky Mountain Cycle Parts.

You will be responsible for arranging shipping, however, I do own a transport company and would be willing to deliver the motorcycle for $1.50 per mile up to 500 miles from zip code 80465.  There will be a $500 deposit due at the end of the auction and the remaining balance due within 7 business days at the end of the auction.  The bike is in very ride-able condition, so you could fly out and ride it back if you wanted...might be fun to do before cold weather hits.  This bike is not for sale locally so it will not sell from underneath you.  Please take a look at my feedback and notice that I am a very honest seller and will do my best to describe this bike accurately.  Thanks-

Rick

I need to make a correction to the bike being for sale locally- It IS for sale locally, so I will reserve the right to end the auction early if it does sell.  This is due to the fact that this is the second time it has been listed.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
