Harley-Davidson Antique, Custom description

Motor is a 1940 UH, 80 cubic inch, with less than 100 hours on a complete rebuild. fitted into a 1935 VL frame. It has a mid-fifty’s 4 speed ratchet top transmission. The frame, forks, tanks and fenders are original. Wheels and hubs are new, black rim, stainless spokes. Tires are new Avon MKII 4.00 x 18. All the black you see is powder coat, except for the headlight.  There have been no modifications to the frame. Tank were done inside and out by Moyers Tanks, Greensburg Pa. Magneto is strong, bike starts easy and runs great, especially on cooler mornings, Bike was built to be period correct and a dependable everyday rider. I have taken it on several trips, up to 800 miles with no major breakdowns. If it does not sell I will ride it to Sturgis the end of August for the Vintage  rally and try to sell it there. Any questions email me.

The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
